This Automotive Grade PUR Hot Melt Adhesive is a reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive, specially developed for lamination of automotive sunroof roller sunshade fabrics. As a moisture-curing reactive PUR adhesive, it forms cross-linked bonding structure after hot pressing and moisture curing. It is designed for the unique working condition of sunroof roller sunshades: repeated rolling, folding, stretching and long-term exposure to sunlight inside the vehicle. It can firmly bond sunshade fabric, PET base fabric, foam, aluminum foil composite layer and other substrates. After lamination, the adhesive layer is thin, uniform and flexible, without hard spots or glue overflow. It maintains the softness and bending performance required for roller retraction, and will not affect smooth rolling and unwinding of the sunshade.
This solvent-free adhesive web meets strict automotive interior low VOC requirements. It replaces traditional liquid adhesive and other hot melt adhesives, solving common pain points such as delamination after repeated rolling, yellowing under UV exposure, insufficient high-temperature resistance and brittle cracking. It is widely adopted by Tier 1 suppliers for passenger car sunroof roller sunshade mass production.
