This 100% recyclable PES hot melt adhesive web is a copolyester mesh adhesive engineered for automotive interior composite lamination, specially designed for auto headliner and seat fabric bonding. Made of PES (polyester) material, the adhesive web is chemically compatible with polyester-based interior substrates. After lamination, the whole composite assembly remains mono-material polyester system. At vehicle end-of-life, the bonded part can go directly into the polyester recycling stream without the need to separate the adhesive web from fabric / PET foam / polyester felt. No extra sorting or disassembly is required, fully complying with EU End-of-Life Vehicle Directive (ELV) circular design requirements.

It is a solvent-free thermal bonding mesh, soft and free of hard particles. Heat and pressure activate adhesion; the bonded layer is uniform, wrinkle-free and non-bleeding. It preserves the original soft touch of fabric and foam, supporting automotive lightweight and closed-loop material targets for OEM & Tier 1 suppliers. It bonds polyester fabric, PET foam, automotive polyester felt and other polyester-based substrates, replacing traditional liquid glues and stitching, and resolves common defects such as delamination, blistering, hardening and unpleasant odor for passenger and commercial vehicle interior manufacturing.

A: Yes. Our PES hot melt web is based on copolyester, same material family as polyester fabric, PET foam and PET felt. The finished laminated part forms a mono-polyester composite.
