PUR (Reactive Polyurethane) hot melt adhesive is a moisture-curing adhesive that provides both quick handling strength after cooling and long-term durability through chemical crosslinking. It is ideal for bonding glass with ABS in appliances due to its high strength, flexibility, temperature resistance, and low VOC emissions.
- Glass: Must be clean and dry. Remove grease, oil, or silicide contamination with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) wipe followed by a lint-free cloth. Plasma treatment is ideal for maximum strength but often not necessary with a good adhesive.
- ABS Plastic: Must be clean and dry. IPA wipe is sufficient. PUR hot melts are generally safe and non-corrosive to ABS.
- Application temperature: 120-140°C
- Open time: 2-8 minutes (depending on adhesive grade)
- Bond line thickness: 0.3-0.8mm to absorb stress
- Curing: Handling strength after cooling, full curing within 24 hours at room conditions (50% RH)

Storage conditions: Sealed package, store in clean and dry place for 6 months. Packaging: 20kg or 200kg barrels.
