PUR Reactive Polyurethane Hot Melt Adhesive For Textile Laminating
JCC-5040D is a high-performance reactive hot melt adhesive based on polyurethane prepolymer, featuring high cohesive strength and excellent bonding performance. This product is a 100% solid content, one-component system, which requires no solvents or additional mixing during application, making it easy to use and environmentally friendly. After being heated and melted, JCC-5040D provides rapid initial bonding strength. Upon cooling, it undergoes a secondary cross-linking reaction with moisture in the air or on the substrate surface, further enhancing structural strength and long-term stability.
Heating temperature: Typically 100°C–140°C, depending on the adhesive grade.
Application method: Dotting, beading, roller coating, or spraying.
Lamination temperature/pressure: Maintain proper range (around 100°C, 0.2–0.6 MPa) to ensure full penetration of the adhesive.
Curing time: Initial tack is achieved upon cooling; full chemical cross-linking takes 24–72 hours
Flexible and elastic, maintaining the hand feel of the fabric.
Resistant to washing and dry cleaning, ensuring lasting bond strength.
Excellent temperature resistance (-30°C to 120°C).
Provides strong adhesion to a wide range of membranes (TPU, PU, PES, PTFE, etc.) and textiles.
Functional fabric laminates (outdoor jackets, waterproof-breathable materials).
Footwear material and membrane bonding.
Automotive interior fabric bonding.
Medical and protective material composites.
Q: What is PUR Reactive Polyurethane Hot Melt Adhesive?
A: PUR hot melt adhesive is a reactive adhesive based on polyurethane. It melts when heated to provide fast initial tack. After cooling, the adhesive layer undergoes a chemical cross-linking reaction with moisture from the air or substrate surface, forming a durable and long-lasting bond.
Q: How does PUR hot melt adhesive differ from traditional hot melts?
A: It provides higher heat resistance, durability, and chemical resistance compared to traditional hot melts.
Q: Environmental and safety considerations?
A: Solvent-free with very low VOC emissions. Complied with oeko-tex certificate.
