Product Description
Copolyamide PA Hot Melt Adhesive Pellets for Melt Spinning of Shoes Manufacturing

Copolyamide (CoPA) hot melt adhesive pellets developed for melt spinning nonwoven web production. The grade is balanced for lines that spin the polymer into a web and then bond it thermally, so the same pellet delivers both clean spinning and a reliable activation point in the oven or calender. Typical end uses include filtration media, hygiene nonwovens, automotive trim and thermal liner webs.

Key Features
  • Stable Web Formation: Even melting and a narrow viscosity band keep filament diameter consistent, which produces a uniform web with no thick spots or resin droplets.
  • Low Activation Temperature: A 118-128 °C softening point allows bonding below the softening range of most PP and PET nonwoven carriers, protecting web handfeel and air permeability.
  • Clean Running: Low gel content and effective melt filtration prevent spinneret blockage and pressure spikes, extending pack life on continuous nonwoven lines.
  • Moisture Controlled Pellets: Pellets are dried and sealed at 0.1 percent maximum moisture so hydrolysis and molecular weight drop are avoided during spinning.
  • Solvent Free and Low Odour: The product is a 100 percent solid system with low residual monomer, meeting indoor air quality requirements for filtration and automotive interior webs.
  • Flexible Bonding Window: A wide activation range tolerates line speed changes and oven temperature variation without loss of bond strength.
Applications
  • Melt spun nonwoven web for air and liquid filtration media
  • Thermal bonding of hygiene and medical nonwovens
  • Automotive trim, headliner and acoustic web lamination
  • Fusible interlining and thermal liner webs
Packaging and Delivery

Pellets are packed in 25 kg net paper bags with a PE inner liner, palletized and stretch wrapped for export. Standard loading is 18 tonnes per 20GP container. Shelf life is 24 months when stored dry below 30 °C in unopened original packaging.

FAQ
What bonding temperature is recommended?
Most nonwoven lines bond between 130 and 150 °C. We supply a DSC curve with each lot so the activation point can be matched to your oven profile.
Will it work on PP and PET carriers?
Yes. The 118-128 °C softening level sits below the thermal limit of most PP and PET nonwoven webs, so the carrier keeps its structure.
Can the viscosity be customised?
Yes. MFR can be adjusted between 15 and 45 g/10min to suit fine denier or high throughput lines.
What is the minimum trial order?
Trial lots start from 100 kg, delivered with TDS and COA.
