Our copolyamide (CoPA) hot melt adhesive granules are specially formulated for the high-speed production of honeycomb blinds. This low melting point thermoplastic adhesive melts and flows evenly at moderate temperatures, creating a strong yet flexible bond between fabric layers, fabric to paper honeycomb cores, and fabric to aluminum profiles. The 100% solvent-free formula ensures a clean working environment, consistent lamination quality and stable output in continuous production lines.
| Appearance | White to light yellow translucent granules |
| Softening Point | 95-115°C |
| Application Temperature | 130-180°C |
| Open Time | 30-60 seconds |
| Bonding Substrates | Fabric to fabric / fabric to paper / fabric to aluminum |
| Water Resistance | Excellent (washable & dry-cleanable) |
| Shelf Life | 12 months in sealed original packaging |
Dosage and temperature can be adjusted according to line speed and fabric type. For best results, pre-dry paper substrates and keep fabric moisture below 5%. The granules are compatible with standard hot melt application equipment including screw extruders, slot-die coaters and glue tanks. After bonding, allow 30-60 seconds of open time before pressing, and cool under pressure for 5-10 seconds to achieve maximum peel strength.
Q1: What application temperature should I use?
A: We recommend 130-180°C depending on your line speed and fabric heat resistance. Start at 150°C and adjust in 5°C steps until a full wet-out glue line is achieved.
Q2: Can this granule bond non-woven fabric to paper honeycomb cores?
A: Yes. It provides excellent adhesion to polyester/cotton fabrics, non-woven materials, paper cores and aluminum profiles used in honeycomb blind structures.
Q3: Is the adhesive washable?
A: Yes. The cured adhesive offers good water and detergent resistance, and bonded pleats remain intact after washing and dry cleaning.
Q4: What is the MOQ and packaging?
A: MOQ is 1000 kg. Standard packaging is 20 kg kraft paper bags with PE inner liner, palletized with stretch film for safe sea or air shipment.
Q5: Can you provide samples for testing?
A: Yes, free samples are available. Please contact us with your fabric type, line speed and application method so we can recommend the most suitable grade.
