A non-woven, mesh-like sheet of thermoplastic adhesive made from ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) or other polyolefin systems (e.g., PE, PP, metallocene-modified PO). The web structure provides low add-on weight, breathability, and easy handling compared with films or liquid glues.
EVA/PO hot-melt webs are a cost-effective, fast, and soft-hand solution for sun visor laminations, ideal for fabric↔foam and foam↔core bonds. Choose lower-softening EVA for textile comfort layers and higher-softening PO/EVA for PP core bonding and hotter climates.
Equipment: flatbed press, belt/continuous roller laminator, heated platen, or calendar line.
Typical processing parameters (tune per grade & stack):
Tips: pre-dry hygroscopic fabrics; avoid overheating foams; use release paper or PTFE belt to prevent sticking; keep web centered to avoid squeeze-out lines.
