Shoe manufacturing is a business of tolerances. A toe puff that is too stiff ruins comfort, a counter that lifts after a few weeks destroys the silhouette, and a bonding process that runs too hot damages upper materials and slows the line. JCC modified polyamide hot melt adhesives address all three constraints by combining strong peel strength with activation temperatures as low as 110 degrees Celsius.
The family covers granules, powder, strips and web, so the same chemistry can be applied on a powder scattering line, a hot melt roller coater, a strip applicator or a sheet laminator. For factories moving away from solvent-based cements, this gives a single qualified adhesive platform across several operations, which simplifies purchasing, storage and quality control.
| Form | Melting Range | Application Method | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Granules 1-3 mm | 110-125 degrees Celsius | Hot melt roller or slot die | Toe puff and counter sheet coating |
| Powder 0-200 micron | 110-125 degrees Celsius | Powder scattering and hot press | Interlining and upper reinforcement |
| Strips | 120-135 degrees Celsius | Strip applicator | Front heel, back heel and seam sealing |
| Web 20-40 gsm | 115-130 degrees Celsius | Flat bed laminator | Lining to upper lamination |
JCC operates dedicated polyamide lines with capacities that support both container-volume orders and small trial batches. Granules and powder are packed in 25 kg moisture-barrier bags, strips in cartons, and web in rolls of 100 to 500 metres. Standard lead time is 7-15 days, with lower trial quantities available for sampling.
Our engineers help footwear factories select the correct grade, define scattering weight and press parameters, and run peel and flex tests on finished components before production release.
