Reactive polyurethane (PUR) hot melt adhesives occupy a unique position in textile lamination. They are applied as a thermoplastic melt, like any hot melt, but then crosslink with ambient moisture to form a thermoset bond that will not re-melt. The result is a laminate that survives washing, dry cleaning, steaming and long-term flexing far better than conventional hot melt films, while the process remains completely solvent-free.
JCC manufactures a full range of moisture-curing PUR grades for cloth-to-film, cloth-to-cloth and film-to-film lamination. The adhesives are used in performance outerwear, medical and protective textiles, automotive trim, home textiles and technical composites where a durable, soft and breathable bond is essential.
| Grade | Open Time | Viscosity | Typical Application |
|---|---|---|---|
| JCC-PUR 5018 | 40 min | 10000-14000@100℃ | Cloth to cloth, fabric lamination |
| JCC-PUR 5040D | >90 min | 3000-4000@90℃ | Cloth to film |
| JCC-PUR 5008 | 30 min | 6000-9000@100℃ | Both cloth to cloth and cloth to film |
