JCC Has Obtained IATF 16949:2016 Certification for Automotive Adhesive Manufacturing
We are pleased to announce that JCC has successfully passed third-party audit and obtained IATF 16949:2016 certification, the globally recognised quality management system standard specifically developed for the automotive supply chain.
Built upon ISO 9001 framework, IATF 16949 adds strict automotive-specific requirements focusing on defect prevention, continuous improvement, risk control, full product traceability and customer-specific specification management. This certification proves that our whole manufacturing system for hot melt adhesive web and hot melt film meets the rigorous quality expectations of automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers worldwide.
The certified scope covers our production of PES copolyester hot melt adhesive web, TPU hot melt films and other automotive-grade bonding materials widely applied for car headliners, sun visors, door panels and other interior composite components. From raw material incoming inspection, formulation mixing, web extrusion, slitting to finished product testing and shipment, every production process follows IATF 16949 rules.
With this certification, JCC is fully ready to support automotive customers with PPAP, FMEA, control plan and other automotive core quality documents required for component approval. We can deliver consistent, traceable and stable adhesive materials for mass production projects, reduce non-conformity risks and support long-term series supply.
